Use Software To Create Your Own Logo Design Studio
May 23rd, 2010 | Posted in Web Design.Every so often it’s a good idea to add fresh graphics to your publication, blog or website. When I went looking for a new logo for my newsletter, I was shocked by how much a designer wanted to charge. With only a small budget, I simply needed to create a small header logo that I could post onto my website and newsletter.
I searched all over the web and looked at the design sites of over two-dozen professional logo-design firms but found nothing even remotely appealing. The built-in graphics tools from such software products like Word or Publisher just didn’t cut it.
What I discovered was that I could actually have my OWN logo and graphic design studio. Just by using 2 or 3 software products! A logo creator for example, plus a business card tool and perhaps an animated logo product. The cost for these three in total would be much less than what a designer would charge me.
With the help of these great software tools, I created what I wanted in roughly 2 hours and got back to work writing my newsletter.
These software products offer me different look and feel from the clipart that comes with programs like Word. They contain Nice looking images like large colorful Orbs or unique fonts. Some of these software products allow you to select a template as a “jump off point and experiment with placement and color. You can adjust and move the images on the canvas anyway you like. You can replace the template text with your own! The sky’s the limit.
When I have a complex document to create, I actually do like using Word templates to get up and running quickly. But when it comes to graphics, a blank PhotoShop canvas is simply too intimidating. Software products such as The Logo Creator is perfect.
When you’re ready to publish your graphics file, most of these tools can create JPEG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, and EPS files (among other formats).
Most of the products are inexpensive. Especially compared to what a professional agency would cost you. The software is usually created to be easy to use (some are easier than others), and you may even find that experimenting with all of the templates gets pretty addictive. The templates offer a good variety of themes and basic designs. There’s also enough flexibility to let you create logos for clients! Start your own logo design service.
I’m enthusiastic about these programs, and I’d encourage you to download them and play around with some of the features. Creating quick graphics for your newsletter or blog is SO easy. Doing it yourself is quicker, you have more control, and it’s far less expensive when you simply need a page header or a blog image.
