Let us say you have an e-book or other digital product that someone can instantly download once they purchase it. You can sell your product for let us say fifty dollars. Now you can try to sell as many copies as you can on your own. You will earn fifty dollars with each sale. But if you look for affiliates to promote your product and you shave half the commission with them you will have many more sales.
You will now only earn twenty five dollars per sale but with many more people promoting your product you will have many more sales than if you worked alone. You create an account with clickbank and then search for a product you want to promote as an affiliate. You will receive your affiliate link which identifies you as the affiliate who will get the commission when someone buys the product.

This is an easy way for you to advertise affiliate products. This is one way to make money as an affiliate and not use a blog or a website.
