Three Interesting Strategies To Achieve Internet Marketing Results

You are no doubt constantly bombarded by pitches for the newest, can’t fail, only two hours per week, even a 12 year old can do it, get rich quick schemes. You know in your heart that they really don’t work but the Guru’s have a compelling tale to tell, and if you just purchase their latest product the secret will be revealed. This product will only be available for a limited time and only for a select few ( you, and a few thousand others), so act fast. You won’t have to work very hard at all because they have cracked the code to making millions, and will share it with you for only 47 dollars, because they care. Then they will disappear, only to turn up again when they have another ’secret’ to share with you. So to get back to the original question, are there really secret techniques that will allow you to make easy money on the Internet?
What is not a secret is that the vast majority of the products and services offered by the Gurus are nothing but repackaged versions of the same old thing. After all, how many ‘Clickbank Secrets’ are there, anyways? Enough for about 200 different products I guess. The truth is that most of the money these Gurus show you that they make comes from the sales of the actual products, and not from using the techniques taught in the courses that they sell. Of course there are exceptions, and we will get to those in a bit, but first I would like to lay out what I believe are a few real secrets to finding success online
Secret Number One
There are no actual secrets. Almost everything you need to learn is readily available-often for free, and sometimes for a reasonable cost, but it is all available. The only actual secret is in being able to sort through all the hype and rubbish as well as just simply bad information that is out there, in order to get to what truly works. This is an extremely straightforward concept, but a hard one to put into practice, especially while you are usually overwhelmed everyday with offers for the latest and greatest new programs. Which brings us to the next guideline.
Secret Number Two
Narrow your focus. This one comes from Kelly Felix, creator of The Rich Jerk Empire. Start off by unsubscribing to every Guru’s email list, or newsletter, that arrives in your inbox. You will not be in a position to accomplish any one thing well if you are continuously checking out the latest fad or top secret product launch. You will go insane with all the info overload . Admit it, your hard drive is already stuffed with e-books and products which you’ve never done anything with and that have never made you any kind of cash. Stop throwing away your time on those forums too. Of course do your research, and then select one Guru or approach with a verified track record, and then pursue that strategy only. And this leads into success secret number three.
Secret Number Three
Find yourself a mentor. There is no better and quicker way to become successful at something than to copy the techniques and strategies of one who has already accomplished that which you are striving for. I mentioned Kelly Felix above, who happens to be one of my mentors. Kelly, and his good friend Mike Long, of Area 51 and Stompernet fame, have recently started an online group. Can you see the extreme value in being able to look over the shoulders in real time, and interact with two Internet Marketing giants who have each created multiple seven figure online business from scratch? Talk about shaving time off of your learning curve! If you can find successful person to mentor you and show you what they are really doing you will be far ahead of the curve and you should grab the chance.
To summarize, if you are struggling to get started or have been working online for awhile without much success, try implementing some of the above suggestions. Better yet, find yourself a good mentor and follow their lead. A good example is Kelly and Mike’s new group. They lay out a step by step plan to follow, show you the only tools you will need, and are available to answer your questions. it’s actually quite rare to find this quality of mentoring available from successful marketers of this caliber, who are open to showing you exactly what they are doing.
