Design: From Scratch or Template

The true question here is how do you initially want to run your web design business?

Do you like getting down and dirty when designing websites or would you prefer to sit back and have others work for you?

Sadly, business success most likely isn’t going to just land in your lap, you will have to work for it. But how hard? There are two main ways to do websites. The first way is to create a unique piece of internet art. The second is to use the art of others.

Both of these approaches can bring potential success. But there are pros and cons to both:

Create From Scratch

Using A Template

If you chose design from scratch, you have the potential to make more money from fewer projects.

If you chose using a template, you have the potential to generate more clients due to lower prices, which would lead to more profit.

No matter which path you choose, just remember it’s just a matter of preference and skill set.

But for my venture, I’m going to go with the design from scratch method.
